UT Extension Online Learning (extOL) is really simple to use...
UT Extension Online Learning is a group of web sites that deliver professional development programs (the extOL Workforce Learning site), instructional content to focused and diverse learning audiences (the extOL People site), and Extension fee-based certification programs (the extOL Certifications site).
These three sites serve the outreach and program delivery needs of the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture and Tennessee Extension, and equip our Tennessee Extension professionals with the learning required to excel in their work.
Those who are NOT employed by Tennessee Extension will use the extOL Certifications site or the extOL People site for their online learning. All you have to do is create an account at the site! Once the account is created, you will have access to any online programming offered on extOL.

How to Use extOL Workforce Learning
Those who are employed by Tennessee Extension will utilize the extOL Workforce Learning site for their online professional development. This site will offer in-services, tutorials on Extension-related work topics and IT/Applications training.
Each employee will use their Net ID and password to log in to the Workforce Learning site. Just follow the steps below:
- Just point your browser to the Workforce Learning extOL web site at extOL Workforce Learning
- Then click the "Login" button in the upper right of the screen.
- Enter your NET ID and password (as you normally do to log into UT Extension web sites) and click the "Login" button.
